Wednesdays, 9AM - 3 PM
Cost: $10 per session
The Junior Master Gardener (JMG) program inspires youths to be of service to others
through learning and development projects. The children get involved in exploring their
world through meaningful activities that encourage personal pride, responsibility, and
community involvement. Youth involved in the program develop critical thinking skills,
the ability to identify community concerns through individual group projects.
Session 1: June 4th
Plant Growth & Development - Learn how plants grow & make the world a better place
Session 2: June 11th
Soils & Water - Getting hands dirty. Learn how soil and water are important to plants and all living things
Session 3: June 18th
Vegetables and Herbs - Learn how to cook vegetables and herbs and how to cook them in yummy dishes
PLEASE NOTE: Camps must have 5 participants in order to run. If we do not receive at least 5 participants, your order will be refunded to you. Camps are capped at 15 participants.

Ecology & Environmental Horticulture: Learn how people, plants, and animals depend on each other and how to take care of the environment.
Insects & Diseases: Find out what bugs you and your plants by exploring the world of insects and plant diseases!
Landscape Horticulture: Learn how to create and take care of beautiful gardens and how to attract birds, insects and other creatures to your backyard.
Fruits & Nuts: Learn about many of the different kinds of fruits and nuts, and make fruit smoothies, raisins, and peanut butter!
Vegetables and Herbs: Learn how to cook vegetables and herbs and how to cook them in yummy dishes.
Life Skills and Career Expectations: Learn about you and your friends and how to make plans for your future.
